National Service Scheme

 
 

 

The institute has a registered N.S.S –Unit (100 Volunteers) operating under CUSAT –NSS Cell and this gives students a chance to engage in social service projects. The main aim of the scheme is to provide opportunities to the teachers and students to gain valuable practical experience through community service.

The objectives of NSS are
• To gain skills in the exercise of democratic leadership.
• To engage creative and constructive social action
• To enhance knowledge of oneself and the community through a confrontation with reality
• To work with and among people

NSS Activites - 2004-05

CITV-NSS unit successfully organised 10 days camp during Christmas vacation at Chalappuram near Nadapuram (Thuneri panchayath) .Our NSS volunteers constructed three linking roadways in the Thuneri panchayath.

NSS Activites - 2005-06

CITV-NSS unit successfully organised 10 days camp during Christmas vacation at Valayam Grama Panchayath. Our NSS volunteers constructed two linking roadways there and conducted Medical Camp, Dental Camp, and Seminars on various topics.
